Fractional CO2 laser treatment is a non-surgical treatment designed to deal with various skin problems such as wrinkles, fine lines, pigmentation, sagging and many others. It can be performed on the face, neck, under the eyes, upper lips, arms, and jaw area.

The beam of CO2 laser light, split short pulses, has the ability to penetrate much more deeply than the rest of the lasers and allows a more definitive effect. These tiny rays of light break up damaged skin cells and make room for new skin cells to grow. Over time, the body’s own healing process removes dead skin cells outward, in turn filling in with collagen, resulting in younger-looking, glowing skin.

Each treatment session lasts 20 minutes in total. However, an anesthetic cream must be pre-applied to eliminate the discomfort of treatment. Usually only a tingling sensation is felt when laser light is applied.

After the treatment, redness of the skin is common during the first 48 hours, depending on the intensity applied. After a week the results begin to be noticed with a firm and stronger skin. Your skin will continue to improve in the next 6 months. After the examination of the skin texture, the doctor will indicate the number of treatment sessions that are required. To obtain effective and long-lasting results, at least 2-3 sessions are needed.
